The postgraduate program is part of the strategic planning of DUTH, is governed by scientific coherence targeting at the promotion of academic knowledge, research development, fulfillment of educational, research, social, cultural and developmental needs of the country and high-quality specialization of graduate students in theoretical and applied areas of Environmental Planning and Environmental Education.<\/p>\n

Its specific objectives can be described as follows:<\/p>\n

  • To provide students with specialized knowledge, cultivate critical, analytical and synthetic thinking and develop the scientific approach towards the fields of Environmental Planning, Management of Natural Resources, Environmental Education and Communication.<\/li>\n
  • To familiarize students with current research methodology trends and cutting-edge technology.<\/li>\n
  • To empower students\u2019 theoretical knowledge in order to understand diverse research processing and analysis techniques used in the fields of Environmental Planning, Management of Natural Resources, Environmental Education and Communication.<\/li>\n
  • To encourage students to critically approach scientific work in the area and develop the appropriate methodology for their own research project.<\/li>\n
  • To contribute to sustainable development by training public and private sector executives.<\/li>\n
