Anastasia Paschalidou is an Associate Professor in Atmospheric Pollution Meteorology in the Department of Forestry and Management of the Environment and Natural Resources at Democritus University of Thrace. She holds a BA degrees in Physics (University of Ioannina), an MSc in Meteorology-Climatology and a PhD (Laboratory of Meteorology, Department of Physics, University of Ioannina). Her research interests lie in the fields of biometeorology, bioclimatology, concise climatology, climate change, air pollution and environmental epidemiology. She has participated in a number of national and European research programs and has led research groups in Meteorology and Air Pollution. She has served as a member of the Management Committee of 3 COST actions.
