The Department of Forestry and Management of the Environment and of Natural Resources at Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH) offers a Postgraduate Program (MSc) entitled “Environmental Planning and Environmental Education” with the following specializations:
- Environmental Planning and Management of Natural Resources
- Environmental Education and Communication
The MSc in Environmental Design and Environmental Education lasts over a period of 12 months and with a workload that equals to a total of seventy-five (75) Credit Units (CU) based on the Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS).
To obtain the diploma of postgraduate studies, compulsory attendance and successful examination in all courses are required as follows:
- Winter Semester, three (3) compulsory courses and one (1) elective course
- Spring Semester, two (2) compulsory courses and postgraduate dissertation.
- Summer Semester, the completion of the postgraduate dissertation (in case students chose it during the spring semester).
