Emmanouel Tziolas has been a research associate in research projects with a job experience in the area of environmental impact management and circular economy of the primary sector. He has specialized in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Life Cycle Costing and mathematical programming focusing on environmental impact assessment (Department of Agricultural Economics, AuTh). He received a PhD grant for a period of 28 months. My research entitled “Planning of agricultural production of Agro-Energy areas using the life cycle assessment method” received a scholarship from ELIDEK and had a significant impact on my knowledge with respect to the assessment and survey environmental impacts in northern Greece. His research interests lie in the area of data analysis and Optimization modeling in the agricultural field, while he is also familiar with the use of Statistics and optimization programs such as SPSS, Lindo and R programming language. He has been teaching courses of special interest (Statistics, Quantitative Methods, Circular Economy and Sustainable Development) at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, both at the International Hellenic University and at Democritus University of Thrace. The four-member research team of which he was a member received the 1st place in the EYATH innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
